Our Farm

Our fields are located near the summit of Mount Ikoma in Osaka and Nara Prefectures near Kuragari Toke at an elevation of 458m (1,503 feet) above sea level. The high altitude, clean fresh air, and ample natural spring waters provide an excellent growing environment. In addition to field farming, we also grow hydroponically for near organic vegetables available year-round.

Where to Buy

You may purchase our product directly from the farm. Please send an email to farmsales@obachannojo.com with your request. We pick our crops in the morning and ship out the same day.

Our Brand

Our brand name is derived from our grandmothers who worked hard to grow and provide vegetables for the family. With their small patch of garden and locally bought vegetables they made delicious meals and canned the remainder for the winter.

We continue their efforts to grow the most delicious vegetables possible and at the same time strive to improve quantity and quality per growing area utilizing environmentally sound practices.

Obachannojo vegetables are grown to strict environmental standards with little or no chemical treatments, we provide your family with the most delicious and nutritious vegetables possible. Our growing methods are not labor intensive, and we provide the best possible working conditions for our staff. We are environmentally sensitive and work hard to have minimal impact on the environment. We strive to be carbon free by utilizing low energy consumption methods and equipment.
